<p>This job involves training, motivating and developing a team of high quality, success oriented sales representatives. You will be responsible for monitoring the activity of the sales team in order to achieve maximum sales potential - conducting monthly and weekly meetings to provide product and industry training, assess sales strategies, and ensure maximum revenue growth.</p>
<ul>
<li>Develops, implements and enhances company wide sales training programs including web based presentations.</li>
<li>Assists reps in the development of territory plans to maximize revenue.</li>
<li>Assists in generating and achieving monthly/quarterly sales forecasts.</li>
<li>Evaluates sales rep performance to motivate and enhance effectiveness.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>New Business Development</strong></p>
<p>Responsible for managing your own book of business on all aspects of prospect development from pre-sale through closing. This includes developing referral sources, identifying new clients, and ensuring a consistent flow of new revenue for the company.</p>
<ul>
<li>Identifies and actively pursues potential new business opportunities; assists in the coordination of efforts necessary to drive a sale to completion.</li>
<li>Works closely with Senior VP Sales to develop and execute sales strategies to increase target market sales.</li>
<li>Generates additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other company products.</li>
<li>Assists in creation of sales proposals, presentations and coordinates the delivery of these presentations to prospects.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Work Experience Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience with sales training and new business development.</li>
<li>Proven business development and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to effectively originate new business, develop and leverage referral sources and convert a cold lead into a new customer.</li>
<li>Effectively manage the new business development cycle and ensure timeliness in the company&#8217;s response to prospective customers.</li>
<li>Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem solving skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company standards, and a commitment to personal and professional development.</li>
<li>Effective written/verbal communication skills and strong follow-up.</li>
<li>Proven time management skills - must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work with a customer service focus and respond with a sense of urgency as required.</li>
